Riccy Scimeca retires

A real shame, but I guess sort of inevitable.

After being so impressive against Preston I was hopeful he would be there for the rest of the season.

Sad when it happens but as he says time catches up with everybody.

He has had a good career. I wish him all the best.

Looks like there might be an open door at our club for him to work with the youth maybe?

Would like to thank Scimeca for the efforts he put into our club. Good player that showed some heart and gritty determination. But i'd like to think an experienced midfielder such as he, would have been offered a small role here for now to help out?

Of the current squad Riccy is one of the 5 or 6 that i have met. He is a genuinly nice bloke and has been dealt a cruel hand with injuries throughout his career. I hope that he stays at the club in some capacity.
