Worl Cup trip of a lifetime

Wed Apr 28, 2010 9:47 am

A friend of mine is out in South Africa at the moment and his friend has got a great World Cup deal on at the moment which I thought I would let you lot know about. He has got space for 3 people and tickets to 7 games including England v USA, Brazil v Korea, Cameroon v Denmark, Netherlands v Denmark, Argentine v Korea, Brazil v Ivory Coast and Greece v Argentina.

All these games are in the general area of Johannesburg, the furthest being the game in Polokwane (Peter Mokaba Stadium) which is about a 2.5 hour drive on National Highway. This obviates the need to secure accommodation at any of the venues. After each match the patrons will return to the facilities at 37 Island Cove, Bromhof, Johannesburg.

Accommodation

Two double bedrooms are available. Should it be necessary, one room will be converted to twin singles sharing. The 3 patrons will have exclusive use of bathroom consisting of bath, shower, toilet and wash hand basin.
Rooms will be serviced and laundry done on a daily basis.

Facilities

The entertainment area has a swimming pool which is ideal to lounge around, suntan etc. For those brave (or foolish) enough, bathing is an option (June is mid winter in S Africa).
A fully stocked pub (in excess of 75 different whisky labels, assorted spirits, liqueurs, aperitifs, wines, malts and mixers) overlooks the pool area and leads off the lounge. In the lounge a 42 inch LCD Flat screen TV is available to view other matches etc.

Food and Beverages

All food and beverages at the house, including whilst traveling to and from Matches are included in the price. Anything purchased at the stadiums will be for the purchaser own account. Beverages include all local wines, malts, spirits and soft drinks, but excludes premier labeled spirits – an amicable arrangement of replacing at cost can be arranged.
A questionnaire will be completed by the patrons identifying their tastes for food and beverage, and where ever possible these will be met.
Meals will consist of full English Breakfast, a light lunch (Lasagna, Prego rolls, Cold meats & salads etc) and a full supper (steaks, roasts, seafood etc) with starters and dessert. Obviously accompanying wines will be provided.
Permanent access to teas, coffee, bar and snacks will be available.
On trips to and from matches, refreshments and snacks will be provided.

Transport

A comfortable, spacious SUV will transport patrons to and from Matches. The 4 Matches in Johannesburg will be accessed by the “Park and Ride” bussing facilities available.
Patrons will be transported to any local amenities they may wish to visit at no extra charge. International standard casinos, Malls, recreation areas and wild life sanctuaries are within a 20 minute drive from the house.

Duration

13 nights from 11th June to 23rd June

Price

GBP 2,000.00 per person inclusive.

Total Price for party of 3 : GBP 6,000.00 inclusive.

Price does NOT include Airfares to and from South Africa.

General

The package offered is intended to be a “home away from home” experience, with an emphasis on quality and comfort. Individual needs will be catered for in a totally relaxed and informal environment. Local knowledge and experience will ensure high level safety and security for the duration of the trip.

If anyone is interested PM me and I will give you the contact details, all this is above board as my friend was in the Army and worked out in Iraq for a while as a private security guard where he met the guy offering this deal. I am saving up for a house otherwise I would have gone as it is a once in a lifetime trip and will be cheap a chips when your out there.

I have had a look on a few websites and you would be looking at around £1,000 each for the flights.

I can guarantee 100% that it is true, if anybody books this and ends up without the tickets, accomodation etc. I will personally give them the money myself!!
