Thank you Labour Party

Wed Apr 28, 2010 2:51 pm

Just walked from town and went Past a Local Pub, and they were all outside steaming Drunk I'd say about 20 of them and not 1 of them works, yet they can afford to get Pissed most days, only in this Country hey? In other Countrys If you dont work you go with out = SIMPLE, but Labour have taken away the incentive for people to take low paod Jobs as they still get a Half decent life without working. Makes my piss boil it do

We are a civilised society and need a social service structure the problem is the government cannot tell these people how to spend their money and they end up throwing it down their throats instead of feeding and clothing their kids. Take it away and the kids lose out even more. They need to get volunteer work out of them so they do not have the time to go to the pub. Wonder if they could give them their social in tesco vouchers that cannot be exchanged for alcohol :D

In time you'll see that the English political parties don't care about Wales and welsh people---vote for Plaid Cymru, a positive choice for Wales!!!! :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

Genius idea! Bring back food and clothes rations to subsidise the unemployed! That would soon make everyone work. The dole should be something people want to stay away from, not see as a holiday!

Unusual for you Blazing you're normally so positive.

A vote for Plaid or Labour is akin to voting Dai Hunt onto the committee of CCST. No offence to Dai of course or CCST :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

I vote for who people i have an affiliation with and thats not an english political party, never ever will i be brainwashed by another country to vote for them and so to me it's a positive stance. Don't be brainwashed, be different and vote for a party that has wales at the route of its policies. POSITIVE PLAID CYMRU!! :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

well said cheggs totally agree and it's the same in every town and city in the country, if people had to work for their benefit they would soon decide that they might as well go out and get a job.

Fine mate, your vote you do want you think thats what democracy is all about and long may it continue. As a welshman I think they're a bit of a joke party encapsulating the small mindedness (is that a word?) of many of our kin folk with a this insular isolationist style "vote winning" policy. Wales would struggle to be independant, there are City's in the UK with a larger population that are better placed for that sort of nonsense. We are the United Kingdom, a collection of all sorts living on a tiny little island whose values of fair play and an open mind once influenced half the world. Where are we now? Back to where we were in 1979, then we had a leader, someone who had the balls to take on the scum from the left, Europe, America and anywhere else come to that. Unfortunately that person didn't have testicles being a woman but had more balls than most of the politicians of her day. The current crop of "party leaders" aren't worth discussing to any degree, same old cobblers, same shit. I won't be voting this time, out of the candidates I'm given not one is worthy of my vote.

I walked through Andover yesterday at 11.30 with my Mrs and baby (i'm on paternity leave). Weatherspoons was packed with the subculture lowlife who are part of the local benefit scroungers. My attitude is that if you don't work you should get benefits (as long as you've paid National Insurance and Tax for at least 12 months). The benefits should be divided into 2 parts. There should be a small cash payment (no more than 20 quid) with the other (no more than 40 quid) being paid onto a smart card for the local supermarket (e.g Tesco) and the smartcard can be only used for food/household items-not booze and fags. Housing benefit and council tax benefit should go direct to the council.

Thats probably rascist Gareth  Quite why I have no idea but when I dabbled in politics many years ago thats what I was told. Another concern was that cetain criminal elements are far smarter than the establishment and it wouldn't take too long before there was an active black market in said vouchers (no smart cards in them days). Housing benefit and poll tax concessions are administered by the Council so they can't, legally pay themselves. Funnily enough old Sludge has some good ideas/points on that particular subject fair play.
