I heard its a guy called Mikey Hays. I think he was found outside on the road. When I went passed this morning they had blocked the road off and set up tents and there was police everywhere

I saw that too , did u see up by the Bowls Club the car that had crashed off the road too ?

I went passed the bowls club (mount to aberdare way) about 8.10 seen all the police and everything but didn't see a crashed car. Most prob somebody being too nosey

the car had gone thro the bollards , the fence and was in the trees when I passed .......... here's the walesonlne link to the incident outside the Jeffs

I drove passed about 6:45, did not see the crashed car, but there were cops and forensics outside the Jeff.

Rumour doing the rounds, says, a womans body has been found as well, she was stabbed, rumoured to be the girlfriend of the dead man.

when I drove past about 6.40am there were 3 police cars and 2 ambulances just past the roundabout for the new hospital and opposite the Bowls club was a car come off the road and in amongst the trees !

I think it could be the dead man's boy.. He has been down for stabbing a guy before and when on a rugby tour with mount he also tipped boiling hot water over a guys face when he was sleeping.

I know who your on about. The boy who had the kettle over him plays cricket with me. He hasn't had much luck of late, also got run over a few months ago!

My old man is from Mountain Ash !! great memories going over in the 70's and 80's to eva street by a park visiting my grannie !!!!!! he always tells me stories of the Nos Galan and who he used to help run the Mountain Ash YMCA back in 50's 60's Mel Evans his name is !! One time he said some bright spark decided to set up fireworks on a hill so the nos galan crowds could see where the lead runner is/was only they botched it and a few cars got damaged which back in the 60's in Mountain Ash would have been an owners pride and joy !!! always tells me there was a copper whos name escaped me but anyone drinking in the Mount would now him as he patrolled the boozers in the 60's and wouldnt take any shit !!! lol Yes Mountain ash great memories

The old bill have now opened the road outside the Jeff. Drove past there half an hour ago. All the forensics have got and the only thing I could see was a flat above a hairdressers across the road from the Jeff as been taped off and theres old bill sitting outside in a van.
