People like Dominos Pizza and others do send you txt msgs, now I have never agreed to it so they just do it which dont bother me at all, but Im thinking how do they do it? Cos Im thinking of doing something like it for my Pubs. Thanks in advance.

Cheggs theres a girl on my FB friends list called Sofia who works there , her dad owns / runs the Aberdare Dominos too . Maybe u could drop her a line to ask her dad for some info ??

a simple way is to create a "group of contacts" on your mobile phone handset and then write the text send to the group assuming you get a lot of free texts on your contract then it wont realy cost you anything

I think he means how do they get the numbers of peoples mobiles in the 1st place ?

my local has a website, if you register your details you get a free drink, they get your email address and contact details I get a weekly email telling me whats on,

you can put a poster up in the bar " text brunswick to "your number" to recieve text updates on events at this venue

this way people are accepting that they are happy to reciev the messages and freely giving you their contact details

set a facebook group up for your pub as well!
