Your 'hack' Geoff Sweet claims "Ridsdale can leave with his head held high". The only thing that man will leave Cardiff with is a healthier bank account and the scorn of 99% of Bluebirds who have failed to be spun by his web of deceit.
The debt is probably no less than it was when the previous administration (criticised heavily by Ridsdale for the mess the club is in) left. Yes, he worked with Langstone to reduce their debt, and he has reduced debts to Steve Borley and Paul guy with the sale of the House of Sport land, but he also has a wage bill that is the highest in the clubs history, and faces a winding up order from HMRC, plus owes several other companies for work done on the Cardiff City Stadium - a stadium for which he recieved a £500,000 bonus for completing - then said our "short term cash flow problem" was due to an over spend on the very same project.
Yes, he originally made contact with the Malaysians, but the fact they're still around is very much to the hard work of club director and former chairman Steve Borley, and not that of Ridsdale. Business in the east is built very much on trust and it is widely known in Cardiff City circles that Dato Chan Tan Gee does not trust Ridsdale. When asked at a fans meeting if the Malaysians were aware of the debt owing to the HMRC, Ridsdale replied "no, they never asked".
The man has no business sense and is only in it for himself. The sooner Cardiff City, and football in general is rid of him, the better. No football club deserves Ridsdale - ask fans of Leeds, Barnsley and now Cardiff. i wouldn't even wish him on Swansea City.
He will probably still be lauded as a hero in some areas of the media, owing to his friendship with Gareth Davies, but we know the truth.
He claims HE got Cardiff to the first FA Cup final in 81 years. I say it was the players and Dave Jones.
He claims HE led Cardiff to their highest league position in years. I say it was the players and Dave Jones.
The man has lied to Cardiff fans who no longer fall for his tall tales.
Personally, I can't wait til the Malaysians come in and finally rid Cardiff city of the cancer that is Ridsdale forever.
Greg Davies.

Look at the players the Sun is referring to - Gabbidon, Collins, Jerome, Gunter, Loovens, Ramsey, Johnson and Chopra
ALL PLAYERS SIGNED WHEN SAM HAMMAM WAS IN CHARGE!!!
These were players who arrived at the club when Hammam was the owner.
Unbelievable

I'm all for giving Jones the credit, but spare a thought for Lennie Lawrence and most of all Terry Burton who IMHO is one of the best coaches in the UK. Look at his record at Wimbledon and Arsenal as well as what he has done here.
