Yes this club has a lot to thank SB for. It must have been very difficult for him to run his own business in these difficult times AND do Ridsdales job as well.

There are many things which will stay with me about the Riddler, but one of the most applicable was when he stood in front of the Judge and pleaded Cardiff City were solvent because they had assets of £40+m due to the stadium and player values.

He had no understanding that this equity was not ready cash that he could get his greedy hands on but he instead had to run Cardiff City out of the income generated and not notional values of fixed assets.
