SOUTH WALES ECHO... Rewriting History???

Sat May 01, 2010 11:20 am

I have just had my echo delivered. And apart from a couple of paragraphs it reads to me like a big wank piece for Ridsdale..

What is going on???

History needs to record what a leech this guy is.

He is a lucky leech, it all looks like it came off and destruction of Cardiff City was staved off. But it was a f*cking huge gamble with our football club !!

I dont think it was down to him that we are now in the position we are, I think it was because of Borley, and the Malaysians putting money in early. OTHERWISE WE WOULD HAVE BEEN WOUND UP.

If he goes away from here with plaudits, then he could f**k up some other club.

I think the only thing we can do, is once he is out the door, make sure that we publisise his story - the REAL STORY - what we need is someone who is good at writing football books to do it - do we know anyone with those credentials who LOVES THE REAL CITY

we know the truth and it has a habit of coming out.

Terry Phillips will collapse in an untidy heap now the riddler is no longer pulling his strings.

I find it disgraceful that a local paper like the echo can distort the truth like this. Normally the local newspaper of a football club reports the truth, and the whole truth, but it seems the strong bond between one reporter and a club chairman will prevail.

Hang your heads in shame and its no wonder why your circulation is dropping like a stone !!

I thought Tucker did a good article with his 'Good, Bad and Ugly' assessment. Over all he seems to judge Ridsdale as a bad thing for the club.

Its all part of the politics involved in the exiting of the current management regime.

This was talked about at a Trust meeting several weeks ago attended by many on here (inc. Annis and Carl) where I said that , as galling as it would be to accept the "party line" of praising PR`s work at the club , it was likely to be the way it would be done as part of the overall negotiations to save face on one side in exchange for saving money on the other.
