on tv today they said there is a fan who 25 years on still cant attend the last game of the season.
Sat May 01, 2010 12:57 pm
So tragic. No-one should go to a football match and not come back.

I also remember this day. A truly terrible day for all concerned with football and a damning indictment on how very little the people running football really cared about the safety of the people who really matter, the fans. and you could see that Terry Yorath is still very emotional thinking about the whole day.
Just think that on that day someone was also killed in a riot at the Birmingham v Leeds game and 3 weeks after Bradford was Heysel. Not long before that was the Luton v Millwall game. The end of that season has to go down as one of the worst ever seasons and one which probably changed the face of football forever. I still remember whole stands at grounds being condemned as unsafe and not allowed to open for matches

I use to sit in those exact seats when I lived there and would pop along to see them play. I know 3 people who died in the fire RIP.
Someone should of been charged with at least man slaughter as when everyone ran to the back of the stand, the Fire Exits were chained up
