If you go up via the playoffs. How do you think Risdale will be remembered?????

First response I am sure will be w@n@@er T@sser c@@t ect ect........

But I put the following points to you.

During his time (if you go up)

3 Wembly apperances.....
you now have a new All seater stadium......
Premiership football.....
Inland revenue and creditors off your backs thanks to the investors he brought in and premiership TV Money......

Does'nt this (if you go up) make him your most successful Chairman ever? If so how will he be remembered now and in the future?

Theses are just questions I was think about today. My personal view is that he should not be let within 100 mile of another football club but I hope you see my points above.

this is the problem with the press coverage that the riddler is getting today
he was not responsible for bringing in these investors that was down to alan whitley and steve borley.
without their efforts we would be liquidated in 5 days time.
as usual he is trying to take the credit for all that happens on the pitch as well.
do you remember the days dave when the chairmen of football clubs put their own money into a club when it was in the shit. if my memory serves me correct was it cyril rogers who bankrolled you for years.
This parasite has never put a penny into cardiff city and only taken out.
the one thing you will get 100% agreement on is that he should never be allowed near a football club again

My personal assessment of the situation is that Sam Hammam had already put the plans in place and set the wheels in motion for all of this to happen. However, he fell out with the local council who would not give him the go ahead for the new stadium which was at the hub of his vision. He brought in Ridsdale to try and front it for him, but seeing the opportunity, Ridsdale masterminded a plan to force Sam out and take the glory (and quite a bit of profit) from the venture whist absolutely assassinating Sam's reputation in the process. Once Ridsdale had the go ahead for the Stadium, the rest of the pieces of the jig saw were already there and just needed to be put together.

In fairness, Ridsdale has worked hard, hes a great PR man and has brought a lot of positives to the club, however, the price was far to high to pay, we were days away from going out of business, he has given away most of the clubs assets and the business model he left the club with is a million miles from being self financing in fact it was trading completely insolvent. His downfall though was lying to the fans and deceiving them out of next years seasons tickets on the promise that it would all be spent on new players. We then found out the £3m raised was needed to pay the tax man, and then it didnt even get used to do that. We then found out that he hadnt paid and still owed the tax man for his own personal company which is solely a consultancy company for Cardiff City. If it wasn't for the Malaysians coming in (which incidentaly board member Steve Borely masterminded not Ridsdale) we would have been in administration as a club months ago.

In summary, my opinion is that he's just a huge gambler who lives in a bit of a fantasy world. A true gentleman to meet and speak to, will always say the right thing, although whether its true or not doesn't really seem to be something that would trouble him too much.

on the other hand dave he took leeds to the top of the premier and to the champions league semi finals and every leeds fan still hates his guts

I totally agree with all you say having read the papers and told the stories AA but my worry is the "on Paper" he will look like the Chairman that brought you everything and will sell this dream on again to a club in need of help and will again bleed the poor B@st@rds dry for his own personal good.
