Can it possibly be true?

Mon May 03, 2010 8:10 am

Throughout my 63 or so years following our club I have seen high hopes dashed and triumph turned to disaster by bad management, a lack of ambition and an ever present shortage of money. It seems too good to be true that the idiotic financial policies adopted by Sam followed by Ridsdale have not left us sinking into oblivion but we seem to be pulling away from the disaster zone slowly.

Most of us long time fans expect anxiety and mismanagement to be a constant part of following this old club. But, can it be true that a few more wins together with new money could see the Bluebirds in the Premiership among the elite and the club being run by very rich and financially astute directors? Can it be at last that the endless dark clouds are revealing a silver lining to us? I can hardly believe it -- but I really bloody well hope so!!

Morning Annis,
Thank you. A first class education at the Fronwen mixed and infants school for the slightly bewildered set us Ogmore Vale boys on the road to fame and fortune. It's a pity we never made it!

Yes, 78 in June mate,
I've cut down to 40 cigarettes a day (I don't feel the need when I'm asleep) and I always know when I've had too much to drink when I don't recognize the gutter I'm in. I'm trying to give up eating -- it takes up valuable drinking and smoking time.
Have a fag. The next round's on you.
