Who are you backing in the World Cup?

Seeing as Wales wont be there (what a suprise...) i'll be backing Germany :getcoatsmile:

Not everyone's choice but I've spent quite allot of time over there in Frankfurt & Düsseldorf and even got together with my now wife out in Cologne back in 2007 (she's Welsh but was working out there!).

They dont play the most attractive football but they are clinical and ruthless, plus the English hate them

go to germany regular my old mate lives out there, joined the army married a boxhead and stayed, in fact im doing the dico for his daughters wedding out there in august. but even he wont be backing germany.

Dont understand why people are anti English considering we play in the English league. Also I cant understand why a lot of anti English people support the England cricket team, hypocrites if you ask me.

Must admit, I wouldn't mind seeing England win it. In fact, I don't think an England v Spain final would be a surprising outcome. However, it's the whole media bandwagon that starts rolling that bugs me about it all. Newspapers like the Express don't seem too bad in their coverage, but The Sun is just nauseating. That current advert with Venables singing and "Wrigh'y" and Redknapp in the choir sums the paper up for me and makes me realise why I never read either that or its sister paper, the NOTW. I'd rather boil my head than read any of their opinions

I'm not anti English, but living in various parts of London since I was 19 and I can tell you that most (not all) f*ckin hate us, I've been in places wearing a Welsh top, and lets just say, it wasn't normal banter from them! personally I will be supporting A.B.E this world cup, could you imagine if they won it

I must say i will support any british team, if ireland or sctoland were in it then i would support one of those over england any day of the week, as there not its england for me, but if not spain
