SCHEME TO SUPPORT THE BOILER

Sat Dec 19, 2009 5:08 pm

The club have decided to award the fans yet again, and after the wonderful buy your season tickets 8 month early scheme, and the invest in your(our future share price)future and pay for the academy scheme, we are now being offered the scheme which roughly means if we get ten thousand people who invest only £5.00 per week, the boiler can be knocked on when its freezing, and on the match day in question, all subscribers will have their names (OK Doug) put in a bin, one will be drawn out and the lucky winner can sit next to the boiler all match and keep warm.

After bonus's are paid out to the people (person) who came up with this scheme, the £500 left over should be enough to ensure the pitch don't get frozen again.

Also as an added bonus, everyone who signs up for this scheme before Monday, will get a free commemorative programme covering the game between Cardiff and Leicester City, also they will have a ten percent discount off the ten thousand stale Clarks pies the club now as.

I assume the above idea is a joke but putting that aside I have a feeling that the powers that be at the club are bound to be impressed and no doubt will be headhunting you for the marketing department after reading it

Todays postponement happened despite efforts by the staff, who worked through the night in an attempt to save the fixture.

I managed to get an exclusive picture from the boiler room:
