Why was my post on TG and Borley removed?

At 11:50 I was sent a text by a mate and posted on this site at about 11:55 the following:

"12 noon: TG and Borley have just ...

... watched the City players have a light training session at the Vale and are now having lunch with them."

A simple question Mods: Why was it removed only for another poster to post the same some 15 mins later?

No problems and no finger pointing was intended, clearly accidents happen.
