heat transfer plate

friend of mine down stadium yesturday and hes a plummer he was told that the heat transfer plate broke down on pitch system yesturday, when it was tested in the summer the outside temp was 20 degrees and it all work ok at that temp but it broke down when turned on last week at a higher presure, c m b were the firm that installed it

oh oh!!! can mr borley confirm or deny this please
tbh its common to have teething problems like this
