CITY APPOINT CEO

GETHIN JENKINS has been appointed as CEO of CCFC.

Do those in the know think this is a good appointment or a gamble?

I think this is the guy who has just resigned a similar post at the Newport Gwent Dragons...

Former Welsh rugby international, then boss at the Newport Gwent Dragon's. That's all I know appart from him being a big fucker so perhaps the board are thinking about future fan boardroom invasions

A rugby man? That'll go down well (not). Hope he's got some good contacts in the round ball game but let's get behind him and give him a chance.

He'll be used to running a sporting club with f**k all money, so shoudl have a more prudent approach than Riddler.

What I've heard from some Dragons fans I know is that he was dong a decent enough job, but was frustrated that he couldn't do his job as well as he wanted due to some pretty swinging financial constraintas applied from above.

Very worrying this appointment.

He couldn't handle the dragons, and failed to deliver in a number of areas.

Also well known for appointing people in jobs for the boys role. Mind you who isn't in those kind of positions.
