Apparrently a fan int he Ninian stand suffered a heart attack after Choras first goal, was taken to hospitla and later died.

Only 50 yrs old. Tragic. Thoughts go out to his family.

I stewarded Birmingham yrs ago at the millenium and my friends father died of a heart attack just after the game as well and they were promoted.

This was just behind me in the Ninian stand, I wondered if it was a Heart attack as it was just after the goal.

Very sad news, and a shame to have happened to anyone not just a fellow bluebird. My heart goes out to his family at this sad time. It's no consolation i know, but at least his last minutes were watching the team he loved and in a place where he had spent alot of his life, a win, and a place in wembley and sparing a thought to comemerate the loss of ONE OF OUR OWN.

Was Wayne Jones from Ebbw Vale. A real diamond, always travelled away with the Heads of the Valleys (Gomez coach) Will be sadly missed by all who knew him. Brings everything into perspective really.

hes 53 not 50
hes my great uncle who i had to identify this morning at cardiff hospital with my family.
the only thing that makes me happy is knowing he died in one of his favoourite places. he always follows city everywhere that they go.
