He knows Football inside out and apparently the Malaysians have been contacting him direct.

CCFC WORCESTER wrote:Let's be totally honest here, and explore the logic.....
FOR ANYONE THAT CAN'T BE BOTHERED TO READ IT ALL THOUGH - If we have a creditor who is PREPARED to take less than is owed by converting to SHARES INSTEAD OF CASH (DEBT) we as a club would be mad to not go for it....
So, that said, for those you can be arsed with the detail :
Taking it from the top......
-Sam came in, and was initially only going to put a couple of Million in, then he got totally wrapped up in the whole 'dream' of
being bigger than Barcelona and got totally carried away.
-Okay, it appears he was apparantly a bit of a 'hard task master' at the club and wanted his way on everything, but let's remember he/his Langston company (?) took on the debt when Citibank got cold feet loan wise so ended up being the 'sugar daddy bank'.
-Add to this the falling out with an ego-manic Council leader (who was as camp as a row of tents) Sam effectively alienated himself from getting the stadium approved, as a result of sticking two fingers up at Berman or indeed enteertaining sharing the new ground with the eggers.
-Things get scary as he personally runs out of cash to run CCFC as a cheap hobby, hence Black Friday and in hindsight a bitter lesson to learn regarding 'spending to succeed' too soon
-Ridsdale arrives and soon shafts Sam by jumping ship to PMG, and as a result, Sam departs as biggest creditor by a mile but UNSECURED (ie guaranteed NOTHING BACK) as the hedge fund promise dissappears after a couple of days and the 'old boys network' step in.
-Sam is demonised as 'threatening to take the the club down' whilst the directors lend the club money on a SECURED +INTEREST basis (nice ) whilst Sam/Langston see's his investmant/huge loss being second in line to the Property Opportunity boys - Money making from building (ie they are pure non footy businessmen) rather than money lost through dreaming (ie Sam thinking he could spend us to the Prem and Europe)
-Years pass, Ridsdale gives us the 'historical debt is a noose' line whist none of it has been paid to Sam, whilst PMG get their smaller loan paid back via Premier Seating etc
-At the same time 'Dreamer' Pete, goes on a bender gambling on fat old former stars (Fowler + Hasselbaink) for a bit of PR rather than being prudent, and we rack up debts to rival the Sam investment (that he still hasn't had a penny back for)
-Golden Tickets, lies and bullshit prevails fron Pinnochio Pete's direction and the Malaysians suss him out as a total fantasist and serial fibber
-Steve Borley saves the day by being genuine (and having a blockbuster book to rival Annis in his mind ) and the Malaysians are saved from killing the deal.
-Sam is down by £20+ million, has negotiated to get pittance back versus his investment, and is then potentially going to be offered a 'swap your CCFC debt for shares instead' option
- If I were Sam - I'D JUMP AT IT (AS HE OBVIOUSLY WAS FOOLISH IN CHARGE........BUT LOVES THE CLUB)
-If I were TG - I'd get Sam in, save the club a fortune in Debt pay-off and manage the relationship by ensuring ALL decisions are based on sense and logic, not haert and wallet ruling head.
-So, in summary, we are lucky to have TG (and VT!!) but, and it's a big but, having done 31 years as a City supporter, without Sam taking us on when we were nearly dead...............we would have been dead with less than 3 of 4 thousand at the funeral....
As a final point, let's please not forget in the Sam v PR debate - Ridsdale has been paid a huge multi-million £ amount by CCFC and has NEVER put a single penny in, whilst Sam, by dreaming big like a lottery winner, has lost a fortune for getting carried away wit h his dream.... ONLY THIS TIME - AT HIS EXPENSE....
WHO IS THE REAL VILLAIN????
