they have just announced if anyone has bought a match ticket in the last 2 years they are entitled to 4 tickets each for Wembley,
http://www.blackpoolfc.co.uk/page/NewsD ... 88,00.htmlSo far they have sold 14,750
Think there could be some extra tickets coming our way
Fri May 14, 2010 8:08 pm
jesus that is desperate
Fri May 14, 2010 8:11 pm
I still think they'll sell a lot. Up until now it's been ST holders I think (although they were allowed 6 each
)
A lot of blackpool fans are saying plenty of neighbouring fans are wanting tickets, along with plastic fans who just want to go.
They've probably done the 2 year thing so that there's not loads of people who've never actually been a game buying tickets.
I hope they don't sell many more though. I'd love there to be 40k+ city fans
Fri May 14, 2010 8:13 pm
what about during the season, gates at home..... Do they say:
"anyone thats visited blackpool tower or beach in the last decade - may come to watch a free game!"
In the famous words of Calsberg "PROBABLY!"
Fri May 14, 2010 8:15 pm
Doesn't look good just under 15k sold this morning and on general sale today , looks like they will go over 20k.
Loads of empty seats if they don't pass some over to us.

Tim, I doubt if we will get any more tickets, The football league would rather them left empty on us, than give them to us

Yes apparently they are on 17000 now and they are on general sale today, so they should end up with 20k+.
Its crazy that Wembley holds 20000 more than the Millenium, yet the clubs playing in finals there get allocated the same amount of tickets.
18000 seats are held back and not given to either club - I think its the middle tier due to 'Club Wembley and various other bollox.

Do you think we will get more tickets? We are Cardiff after all
Sat May 15, 2010 9:00 am
Didn't Millwall get extra tickets last year because Scunthorpe only sold about 12k. Think I read somewhere that Wall were eventually given something like 47k tickets, so I don't see any reason why we shouldn't get more if Blackpool fail to sell out their allocation.

I've heard there's at least 50 Den Haag in the Blackpool end - or are they infiltrating our end?
Sat May 15, 2010 12:53 pm
says on their website thats its been a 'hectic day' for ticket sales
Sat May 15, 2010 6:05 pm
We do have an advantage in that our glory support has 2 previous Wembley visits
Sat May 15, 2010 10:58 pm
You'd think there'd be more than that in the Blackpool area who just wants to visit Wembley. Never mind though.
Sat May 15, 2010 11:08 pm
you'll know who the glory supporters are - sing the most popular terrace songs - and if they hummmm along, or just kind of mime, then give em a slap across the swede!
