I asked my dad if he wanted to go to Wembley, he said he couldn't afford the ticket, so I said he could have it, my treat, for introducing me to the wonderful world of Cardiff City as a wide eyed 8-year old on 27th October 1990 (Peterborough at Home), and for always taking us to games even though money was tight. He still wouldn't accept. He said he doesn't feel deserving as he has only watched City once (Derby, 6-1) this year.

Got goose pimples reading that. My dad didn't introduce me but has always supported who I support because up until recently, this Valley/Village has been full of Plastics. He don't like football much, but will watch it with me if I ask him.

Fair play to him for the comment about deserving it on the basis of 1 game this season, but anyone who has been going for years, and was through all the shit years DOES deserve to be there regardless of only doing 1 game this season(IMO!).

I only got down to 7 or 8 games this season, but it annoys me that there will already be people with tickets who have been to less than that and probably haven't been since Pompey
