Fairplay to him-after kicking corner flag into the crowd incident. At end of game he went into the crowd and gave his shirt to the kid whose dad he had hit with the flag.

Yeah, he realised it was a bad thing to do, but we all do things in the spur of the moment and he's apologised for it. But, I wonder if the old man told the kid he'd "look after it til he was older"?

He shouldnt have done it in the first place
but fair play to him giving his shirt to the kid

Nah, he shouldn't. But it was a mistake and made up for it. We've all made the odd mistake

One of your odder mistakes, no doubt

Yeah it was a random thing to do but I am sure Carew didn't intend to hurt anyone by doing it. Rectifying his mistake was better than just ignoring it or just verbally apologising. Decent gesture.

He also didn't hit anyone with it, but came very close!
The boy was actually with his mother - and funny enough it turns out they were Norwegian!!!! Whats the chances on that!
He gave the lad his shirt to appologise - great gesture and goes along way with fans.
