wow, wasnt he the one that had heart troubles before and they couldnt sub him or something the game they had 2 players sent off?

Not a direct dig, but surely Swansea have medical staff that monitor this kind of thing. With all the money in the game there is absolutely no reason why a player should die so young from something that should have been identified at early stage.

RIP fella, you did bring some pleasure to peoples lives with your skills.

Indeed tragic but he would be one of a small number, relatively speaking, of people that have positively affected thousands of other peoples lives in a postive manner.

There have been number of players over the last few years that have died of a heart attack. Alot of experts put this down to some players being "overfit" therefore leaving themselves vunerable. Its part of the game us fans dont realise can happen.

Even so with this risk its very tragic when its happens especially at a youg age. Although this guy has been a fringe player for the Jacks I have heard his name mentioned a few times on PS. When you read about him or any player in that matter its a bit of a shock to hear he has passed away. A sad day for Swansea, its supporters and the rest of the footballing world.

Probably the wrong feed to write this on. I do remember having a messageboard board exchange with Steve Day, most likely here about the way young players are treated in the UK. OK the top few are treated literaly as gods but there are thousand upon thousand that never make it anywhere near a "payday". Somewhere on this internet thing are some stats about the numbers of youth (kids basically) trial players that give up due to "serious" injury i.e. they can't play pro football at the highest level so are effectivley "scrapped". I fully appreciate that the academy type set ups have done wonders but if compared to the rest of Europe we are well behind. Christ I sound like a ccmbier

Besian Idrizaj a 22 year old Swansea City player died this morning of an apparent heart attack.
