Driving to wembley-times and pubs?

Sun May 16, 2010 11:21 am

Are you driving to Wembley on sat 22nd if so is there anyone leaving from Cardiff or Caerphilly?

Just wondering what time will you be leaving as im also driving and just wondered what's the best time to leave?

i live in Caerau but have to go to Caerphilly to pick up my In-Laws so just want to know whats the best time to be leaving as i dont want to hit too much traffic on the way to wembley?

We will be stopping at harrow on hill and wondered is there anyone else from here going there and if yes what pub will you be going to? perhaps we could pop in and say hi

Thank you everyone and look forward to seeing you all at Wembley :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

I think whatever time you leave, you'll run the risk of traffic problems ( that's why I'm letting the train take the strain) so maybe leave as early as possible, 7-7.30 is when I would leave. Probably going to get a beer or 2 in the Globe in Baker St or may go to Uxbridge, seems a few City are following suit, or you could go to the pub Annis has hired out

We are driving, like we did two years ago, would advise to leave early. Have you sorted out parking?

been told to go to harrow on hill and go to the half moon pub, they have a car park at the rear of the pub, so im gonna ring them later and see if we could use the car park providing we drink in there.....worth a shout i suppose, will post a reply on here later when i get hold of the pub!

yes think leaving at 7.30 am would be best.......cant wait im so excited

have anybody got the website link to book the tube? would be very gratefull if you have thank you :ayatollah:

Leaving Ystrad Mynach at 04:30am :ayatollah:

Usually park in Uxbridge but looking to park abit further down the Metro Line this time, prob around Eastcote.

My lot will be heading to The Globe on Baker Street again, amazing atmosphere last time and only a few stops away from Wembley Park.

OMG 4.30 gulp!!!! thats way too early for me

Unfortunately i have to wait for my brother to come from scumsea to come to my house so he can babysit my children, hence the reason why i will be leaving a bit late

That looks a great pub.....mite have a word with the rest of my gang and mention that one!!!

Drinking in central London pre-game really is hard to beat, especially if it's sunny
