Or rather who owns Cardiff City Football Club (Holdings) Limited , which owns all of the football club plus all of the stadium company?


There are several hundred very small shareholders (not dwarves , but holding small numbers of shares ) , but the main controlling influences are those individuals/companies that hold over 1m shares each of the 41m in issue (there are also 22.5m deferred shares , but these carry little or no voting rights or other powers and are really a leftover from when Hammam was ousted as Chairman and majority shareholder).

Those holding over the 1m share level are as follows:-

Between the above 10 , they control exactly 2/3rds of the shares.

Certain acts would require a 75% shareholder consent to be legally binding , so the support of 6 or 7 of the next 13 shareholders owning 500,000 or more shares each would be needed.

There is no longer a reference to M Hall being a shareholder in his own right (which there was on the 2008 return).

Neither Ludlow St or Triple I ( both offshore companies registered in Tortola , BVI) are the new potential Malaysian investors as they have been shareholders since 2007.

There is still no reference on the file of TG being appointed as a director or of any new shares being issued to the Malaysians since the date of the above list.
