Wembley 2010 playoff final - POEM!

In bright hot sunshine in the middle of May,
theres forty thousand Bluebirds on Wembley Way.
Shirts, scarves and inflatable sheep,
Just one more date we all must keep.

A great first season in our new ground,
The Bluebirds might just be Premier bound.
Whitts and Chopra just cant stop scoring,
ensuring the games are far from boring.

Marshall and defence kept it tight at the back,
and who can forget the win over the Jacks.
Macca, Ledley, Burke and Rae,
Bothroyd, McCormack and of course DJ.

We've waited too long for this hot ticket,
Just which of our boys will go on and nick it?
That City will do it is just our opinion,
Do it for Wales, Do it for Ninian!

Heard the 'Do It for Ninian' line in other poem on a phone-in earlier, which was my inspiration for this so left it in at the end!
