Our disappointing support

Sun May 23, 2010 10:49 am

I notice a lot of criticism of our support on Saturday. Some of it may be justified, because, of course, there were bound to be a fair proportion of our fans who did not know our songs or who were not prepared to sing out - there were bound to be newbies amongst us.
But the sequence of the scoring certainly had a dampening effect on our lot. We go one nil up then can’t hold Blackpool for more than 4 minutes. When our second score was cancelled out they do it again, just as quickly. The result is anxiety and pessimism for our fans but, the opposite effect on Blackpool’s fans.- Whatever Cardiff do, we will come back. If you re drawing, you re in a more positive mode if it was your side that equalised.. So we didn’t support as well as we should, but our boys did’nt help, did they? Weren’t we all fearing the inevitable third from Blackpool?
By the way, I m one of those who thinks Blake and Gerrard are our best centre backs
