we need to massively cut our wage bill and squad, hes well down the pecking order when it comes to centre backs as far as dave jones is concerned.

Rumour has it that Gabor Gyepes had a massive bust up with DJ in pre-season last year.

Gypes and tawio weren't out of contract this season, so il be honest I cant see them being released. If they were released we would have to pay the rest of their contract anyway. I suspect they will be transfer listed instead

Almost certainly have contracts paid off / accepted settlement to go.

why would we [pay them off, when we can sell them and recoup soem cash for them. I dont belive they have been released on free transfers at the mo. Once its official ill belive it.

Well to say I'm suprised that Gyepes is being released is an understatement! Thought he did well when he had a few games earlier in the season!

Jones won't play them. if they accept a settlement, cheaper to do that and reduce the payroll.

It would have been better to have sold those players coming out of contract this summer - no offers, except for Feeney. I'd doubt there was much if any interest in those we've released.

I personally was hoping for a Gerrard/Gypes centre back pairing next season.

Once again anyone who falls out with Jones is out of the club.Even if not in the starting line up Gabor would have been a useful back up at Championship level next year.

The last few sub appearances taiwo made he was much improved. Would have liked to see him get another season; with a full pre season, could have had the potential to be the ball winning midfielder we need.

Gypes hasnt looked the same player for some time and is behinf Gerrard, Hudson and blake at CB and if needed we can move Kev across so im not surprised he is going. All the rest are a waste of space.
I guess Kennedy is getting a new deal tho
