Doesn't sound a bad idea...... smaller contracts, easier to sell, easier to release if and when! probably more bonuses than regular salary too.

well tbh, what i saw of him last season he wasnt a bad player, give him a chance to prove hes worth

Not saying he cant do a job, but sometimes not even on the bench when he was fit at a time when we were struggling for numbers.

I think they're keeping him as cover for Burke and then when January comes along, pending our position, they'll look for someone else or give him a new contract.

the contract is "whilst he is returning to fitness" so its got be a very low wage, nobody will take him on before the next transfer window shuts in august so we get a back up player for next to f**k all until january it make financial sense if nothing else

Talk about cost cutting... Lets offer a nobody a 6 month contract just so he can get fit and find another club. We're in debt. dont think we got time for good gestures!! what a waste of money.
