Besides, people jump the gun on the rumour - because Pienaar may be off.
Pienaar is a quick and tricky left winger.
Ledley isn't.
No way Joe would get into the middle of Everton's midfield, why pay 6m for a reserve?

6m compensation? Hmm, think that's wishful thinking, tbh.
I'd be amazed if we got more than 1.5m - 2m.
And of course if he went to Jockland, the compensation bit is irrelevant.
