I would have thought it was more to do with it being a massive game, and the biggest game he's played in for Cardiff!

Don't forget, Bellamy played mostly LW for Man City last season.
Perhaps that's Jones' plan.

If we really are going to go for top 2 next year then we must keep our best players such as Chopra and Bothroyd and if we can add quality ala Bellamy and one other top striker then thats a good start. However as was borne our all season midfield and the defence will still need some attention. The signing of Bellamy may well open the flood gates to top players wanting to come here though. Fingers crossed eh.

Just imagine, Jay and Chops upfront, Bellamy and Burke out wide and Ledley and McPhail in the centre with Ross and Whitts as options One thing's for sure, we won't struggle to score goals and fans will be queuing up to watch

If Bellamy comes he will NOT be a replacement for Chopra. He will more or less play in midfield on the left wing and not an out and out striker like Chopra is.

I personally can see Whitts playing central midfield with Bellamy on the wing....thats if Bellers comes.
