I think the three Amigos; 1. Primed for a transfer, 2. Upset DJ, 3. Needed a rest.
Could there be other reasons??? i wonder!

IMO he should have been playing and getting primed for Wembley - i beleive he would of shone that day - and smashed his value up. One seems to think he could be on the move soon? who knows? I'd like to see a full season out of him 1st.

If he was being kept back because of an agreement to sell him then surely we would have heard some more about this now as the season is over.

As with Ramsey in the Cup Final, Jones will always go for "experience" over youth. He had some success with Wolves using that strategy getting promoted but has had less success here.

This reliance on experience could also partly explain why he chose Hudson over Gerrard last week - that and of course the fact that he'll always play his favourites !
