If True Jonah, I would welcome him, we need a leader.

Have to say I like the look of Stock From what I've seen he's similar to Mcphail, good on the ball, keeps the game moving, direct competition.

The only downside is that Doncaster have played better while he's been out - might just be co-incidence.

The rumour last week was his colleague in midfield for donny - Woods.

Well if this is FACT? then i'm a happy man! Stock is a great midfielder....... and some one i'd welcome at our club.

I think he would be a great signing. We need an instinctive midfielder as some of our central mids aren't picking up our wingers runs as often as they should be, instead passing to centrally placed players who aren't as well positioned. I think some of our midfielders lack instinct at the moment (among other things!).

Seriously, with the way this rumour has come up over and over again in the last month or two, there must be something in it.

The last time we were linked with a player this much it was Koumas (HE IS COMING - FICTION!) and we all know we SPOKE to him but he didn't want to come.


I'd make a mess in my pants if our midfield ended up as McPhail alongside Stock by the time we go up to Newcastle on February 5th. We'd tear them apart!

Posted this Saturday Jonah.. your spot on. Heard from a very reliable source as well, tax bill has to be paid first, but everything else looks in place, so long as Southampton dont beat us to him.

He's 99% not going to Southampton. For a start he's too good for them, but the stories his wife lives down there are untrue as A.) He's engaged, not married, and B.) She's up in Lancashire with him, his "in-laws", I think, are in Bournemouth.
