A forum for all things Cardiff City

His camp in Sierra Lionne would bring great publicity to Cardiff if/when he comes to Cardiff. And the fact that he wants to train youth and be part of an academy only spells a GREAT future for CCFC. Eventually, he WILL come home, and what better, local academy to work in will be just a stone throw away from his home. I see Bellamy inevitably bringing good to our club what ever he decides to do.....
Great read, and open peoples minds up.

The thing with Bellamy is, all the negative stuff I've heard people say about him has majoritively happened years ago. In recent times the majority of people haven't got a bad word to say about it. He's still outspoken obviously but he does so much good like charity work and caring for his family, local gigs etc.
I've never met the guy but from what I've heard, particularly recently, he deserves a lot of credit.

The media will always tend to focus on negative stories so this more insightful article makes for more interesting reading.
My impression - I do not know him - is that he gives back more than 99% of football players and has done so for some considerable time. A few of our own players could learn from this. In addition, one has to recognise how the process of ageing changes us all - everything moves on......

He has long been my favourite non city player.
Would love to see him come home, finnish his career on a high and then take a role in our academy.
