FORGET THE EDL and WDL "YOUR HONEST OPINIONS"

Please.

I keep getting asked My Opinion.
I dont get involved in joining groups, I just stand by My Own Opinion and will never change on it.
As most of you know My Grandfather came over from Egypt and My Mothers Side from Bury Lancs, My self, Born and Bred in Cardiff and I am Very Very proud of My roots/ My Ancestors etc
But what I am going to say and I stand by this.
When My Grandfather came over here he knew if he never worked, he would be left for dead, he never came to Britain for hand outs he came because he knew that if he worked hard, he would prosper by it. My Father and Grandfather hated lazy people and scroungers, they both had to start from nothing.
But what I am trying to get to is, I believe that this Country is giving nothing back to Us Tax paying workers, but for the last 15 years has opened its doors and looked after the scroungers and people who have come here to just take. I Believe We should Shut All Our Borders once and for All and look after the British people who are here.
Whats wrong in sorting our own mess out, we have a lot of poor/ill British Citizens who need Our Govt to help them and Our Schools/Hospitals/Employment cant take any more.

Annis I agree with you that who is here are here but no more please, we need to sort this country out and stop the handouts.

I've only ever known foreign guys come over here to work.

I've got 3 Slovaks at our factory at the moment and have had Poles, Lavians and Indians over time, all have been decent people who get on with things and pay their tax.

I'm sure none of us want hate preachers like Karzai (spelling ) here, but the general 'kick them out' attitide of some of these groups just seems stupid to me.

Good and bad in all society and races.

Maybe we should stop making it so easy for ALL of society to get hand outs and only give to those deserving and needy. after readin my moring paper it looks like thats what the new government are going to be doing.

We've got over 5m people of working age not working 2.5m unemployed and 2.5m on invalidity.

The welfare state costs almost as much as the NHS and Education combined.

They KNOW something needs to be done, and there is no more money left to throw at it.

The public sector is going to see the end of the continuous pay increases and improvements in hours/pensions/conditions etc..

It's going to be tough times as there will be people effected who don't deserve to be, and there will be a lot of resistance from people who are doing very well out of the system, but there doesnt appear to be an alternative.

totaly- i am a bnp member, i have black friends, chineese, mixed race you name it. our policy is to halt all imagration regard less of race etc. its just common sense. yet i have no idea why some people call me a racist when they dont know me at all, yes i want to shut our boarders, but for some reason they think we want to kick every non white out! this is non sense, the only people we would kick out would be be criminals born over sea on bogus asylem seekers. no body else. we now have seek members and west indian members so i dont see why the racist label is still being played becuase we want to shut the doors to this country.

national insurance taxes companies for paying people. This makes it more difficult to compete with companies abroad.

If it costs 20p to make something in China and 25p to make it over here, after taking account of stocks, transport etc.. then it may be a marginal decision. Add on another 10% for Ni then the decision gets pushed towards outsourcing it (making it abroad).

Add on the high rates charges for premises, myriad of H and S rules, constant forms to be fille in and admin involved in being the governments tax collector and its not suprising that many choose the easy option of getting stuff made or done abroad.

h&s in this country has gone f*cking absurd, you wont believe what paperwork is involved for us, its costing us a fortune for f**k all, h&s is down to basically common sense

another angle to look at it is forget tax paying, race, religon etc, just think about it as a matter of space. where is everyone going to live? there is a massive shortage of houses now let alone the next 10-15 years when my children will be looking for somewhere to live. it is not racist to talk about immigration yet a lot of people seem to think it is. some thing i dont understand

As for the EDL and CDL... I dont want ANY BODY coming here with the intend to bomb or murder people of this City or Country, yesterday it was sad to see and hear Cardiff City fans threaten other Cardiff City fans who decided to take part in the march, I cant help wonder how those making the threats would feel if a bomber attacked the new city stadium...... after all Ninian Park was on the target list found in a cardiff address when police arrested a muslim extremist...... The march yesterday wasnt against muslims it was against ALL EXTREMISTS......

Its one thing to say that, and that may well have been the opinion of SOME in the march.
Others were just openly racist.

In fact some of the stuff reported as being chanted was insulting to the WELSH as well.

Thats one of the problems they've got. People with EXTREME views will latch onto them and use them for their own hateful benefit.

There are legitimate politcal arguments taking place over immigration.

At the end of the day, over 80% of immigration into the UK is from the EU anyway.

Too many hand outs by this government have made this country lazy.
I got a job as soon as i left school and juggled college/work and since college training for the military/work now.

I pay my taxes, and where does my money go?
On some scrounger who can't be arsed going to the job centre, house paid for by us, probably a free car too.

I'm not talking foreigners, i'm talking every single scrounger in this country.
Anyone who works is fine by me, but lazy people who rely on OUR money which we've worked f'cking hard for, isn't fine by me.

Why is it that I (who has been working his bollocks off since I was 16) have to work 200+ hours a month, and pay my own way towards retirement via a pension fund, to live - when there are people who have never worked, but plopped out a couple of kids get their houses and everything paid for without having to lift a finger?

The whole thing is a disgrace.

The benefit system in this country doesn't encourage people to work. I saw some thing on the box last week , it was about a young mother in Merthyr with 2 kids, she's not married, neither her or her kids father are working and the benefits system pays her more if she and the father live apart even though they are in all intents and purposes a couple, she lives with the kids at one address and he lives elsewhere, don't know how much he's getting but she was picking up £1,550 odd a month net, the equivalant to somebody earning approx £2,200 a month gross, or £26,400ish p a.

If there's hundreds of thousands of single mothers picking up similar amounts each week/month how long can the country go on paying out this kind of money?, now throw in the immigrant problem on top with the benefits the are supposedly getting and the amount of money is mind blowing. Personally I'm pissed off with it, I work and bring home what I consider a manageable wage, but it's a good few hundred pounds less that this mother gets for doing nought. The government needs to look at this problem and quickly, otherwise this country will never be out of debt. Letting more freeloaders into the country will only compound the problem.

Some people will refuse to work for the minimum wage and i dont know if i agree with them.

Why should some people have what seems like everything, 2 Cars, 5 Bedroom house, 3/4 holidays a year and then some people who work just as hard cant buy enough fruit for their family.

So if you had the choice of working 40/48 hours a week for £900 per month or not working for £1200 a month what would you do ?

Onto the topic of EDL and WDL, i am not racist at all, yes i have black friends and black family members, i know this does not make me a non racist, but take my word for it i am not.

But i hate people of any country slating this country and continue to live here. My advice to anyone who hates this country is for them to leave.

Mike, If My Father or Grandfather were alive today both would be fuming with the way this country is handing out money/houses etc etc etc etc for not doing an hours work.

There are quite a few conflicting views on here. First of all, it goes without saying that the BNP is racist. Until a year ago, they would not allow non-white people to be members, and only changed this because otherwise they would have been ruled as being an illegal party. If you really do not count yourself as racist, there is no way you could consider voting for them.

As far as immigration is concerned, it's a fact that roughly the same number of people leave the country each year as come in, so closing the borders also does not make any sense. I mean, it is completely unworkable anyway.

As far as the video is concerned, of course it's a joke that the person who made it used the Manics' song "If You Tolerate This" as the soundtrack, especially as it contains the line "If I can shoot rabbits, then I can shoot fascists". It's also in bad taste to use Christian imagery in the video. It's hardly a convincing case that people who support this cause would regularly be seen in church, practising a doctrine that teaches to love thy neighbour, etc. If God is love, then surely all forms of hate stem from the devil (there, that's a controversial view for you).

I'm not denying there are extremists on both sides. But there are a lot of lies perpetuated about the influence people who practice the Muslim faith are trying to assert on this country.

The question I would like to ask is - if you vote for a fascist party, such as the BNP, with the hope of electing a fascist party into government, what exactly are you expecting? Do you really think such a party could succesfully govern the country? And as for protecting its own citizens, surely you only need to look to history to see that far more likely a massive number of its own citizens would die, most likely as a result of armed conflict after an invasion by all non-fascist countries.

Personally, I think that now the election has passed and the far right failed to make any kind of impact, this whole issue will die down significantly. I didn't vote Conservative or Lib Dem, but although the notion of change is a bit of a cliche, I actually think there will now be a change in people's attitudes. It's a shame to hear of City fans turning against each other, but on a bigger scale, this will be seen as a minor incident, I think.

But you are way off the mark, i am not,never have been and never will be a racist.
i have many asian, muslim, black, chinese, jewish and athiest friends.
i am proud to be welsh and tolerant. i have the right to vote for whoever i want. i have the right to speak my mind without being labeled a racist. i have the right to debate with followers of all faiths without the fear of abuse/attack.
i have these rights because i live in Wales, the finest country in the world and if any fundamentalist c**t tries to affect my rights i will protest and make my voice heard.

The City boys who took on the EDL ****s done us all proud. I won't condemn their violence because when faced with the hate that the EDL brought to Cardiff violence is sometimes the only answer. I agree with you on most points annis,but we need some immigration of doctors and healthcare workers until we sort out training and recruitment of british born people.We need to be more like Austrailia and only take people who have a job that cant be filled by a uk resident or a sponsor to take them into business.The welfare system is in a hell of a state and far to much money is being directed away from the old and sick to scrounging layabouts who have no intention of working while we pay taxes to keep them in beer, fags and drugs.
