If you get the chance to read the book it's well worth it.
The man was one of the most gifted players ever to kick a football but he was also a nutter.
His drink, drugs, gambling, womanising ways were legendary and he made George Best look
like a quire boy.

I remember his debut for the City well, v Fulham on Jan 01, 1977, & what an impact he made, scoring two goals in City's 3-0 romp. Things just fizzled out though, with his off, & sometimes on field attitudes pissing off even the placid Jimmy Andrews. For the record, Robin scored Six goals for City in twenty one appearences, his last game for the Bluebirds being away To Bolton Wanderers in a 6-3 defeat on the 10 Dec, 1977.
