101 Financial Control

Having been a (b)anker for 20 years can anyone in the know down the City enlighten me as to how one man (ie Riddler) can enter into a contract with an offshore company (allegedly) and mortgage players or whatever else he has done for 3 million quid?

The most basic financial control, even a 2 person partnership has, is 2 authorised signatures for any payment, contract etc so either someone was in on it or we truly were running a Mickey Mouse organisation which then begs the question, what about the rest of the directors allowing this to happen? if he did do this was teh money paid into company accounts or into a personal account?

I was wondering that myself, how can one person take out loans etc without anyone knowing about it in a business the size of Cardiff City

good point and shouldnt all businesses have at least 2 signatories etc ? Saying that his pal Keith Harris was finance director was he not , so nuff said .

Not sure who our external Auditors are but a question they should be asked
