I've just seen on Sky Sports News that Kris Boyd will be avialable on a free from Rangers soon. Now, i Know weve been interested previously...surely hes worth having a pop at getting ?

He almost signed before for us ,so I don't see why not

He didn't really. We made an approach that was swiftly knocked back by the player. Reason why not is because he would be able to get about 30k off a Premiership club in wages with a hefty signing on fee due to being a free transfer. We cannot and should not compete with that.

Newcastle are favourites to sign him.
