Mexico look a little toothless but were the better team by far. However, it is what you do with the ball and not the amount of possession. Mexico seem a little too defensive for their own good.

It looks as if a fit and organised team will go far in this tournament. Greece did it in 2004 at the Euros, so can someone do it in 2010?

This will be an open World Cup.

Mexico's formation worried me. They seem scared to push on and really attack. If a team can attack with pace then they are difficult to beat. They won't necessarily need the ball a lot, but a good counter attack with pace can destroy teams.
