I was thinking exactly the same. From what I gather West Brom rated him but let him go due to the Home Grown rule in the Premiership. Judging by what Carlccfc says he would fit out bill what with being available for a free. I suppose the only questions would be can we afford his wages and/or will he prefer a move to the continent.
