Swansea only sold 2,000 season tickets?!

Rumours doing the rounds on BBC 606 that there has been very little uptake on season ticket renewals and at this moment in time they have only got 2,000 people registered for season tickets for 2010/11.

To be honest I can't blame them. You go to a football match to be entertained and all those draws and 1-0 wins won't insipre people to get down the Liberty more often. Also heard they discounted loads of matches last season to £10 each through Tesco's and if you had kids or worked in the public sector? Doing that kind of offer once a season - no problem but they apparently did it for several games and this must have annoyed the season ticket holders. Huw Pugh had better order some Vuvuzelas to create some atmosphere!

The lack of bums on seats, added with the loss of Britton and Pratley could see them struggle next season.


We may have spent the money but at least we'll have AT LEAST 17,000 bums on seats next season!
