I dont think it is very helpful or clever looking down and being all I am towards a club that 20 odd years ago was a serious rival and used to punch well above their weight.

Some remember the clashes between the two. Others have no time for County. I do I used to go and watch em when City were not playing home. I supported em against everybody except City.

I hope the do well great to see them back in football league - perhaps it will change the Liverpoolness of Newport.

Times change quickly - who would have said Oxford or Luton would be in the conference a few years ago. Took Oxford a few years to get back.

Me too and it would be a laugh if Trundle joined them. Seriously I think he'd be a great signing for them.

i'd love to see county and wrexham back in the league preferably 2 divisions lower than their capital along with the jacks only went to newport once 1987/88 mad day out

Newport were always superb days out, and I would love to see them back in the league. Trundle is over the hill in my opinion, although possibly could do a job for County for a season at their current level.
