Yeah...Some of them would have forked out a fair amount of money to go and watch that game, and they get served up with that shit. And they should rightly boo them after the last two performances..

You'd think they'd be used to it by now.

The thing is, a sneaky 1 - 0 win against Slovenia and all the papers will be calling them "world-beaters" again. Played like a bunch of wife-beaters tonight.

What he fully said makes it even more shocking!!
"NICE TO SEE YOUR OWN FANS BOOING YOU... THATS LOYAL SUPPORTERS FOR YOU"
Am I wrong in thinking that these fans have travelled across the world to watch these players, who are paid £90,000+ and struggle againstt he likes of USA & Algeria?

They thrive on the limelight. But when things go wrong they don't like the critisism!Rooney is well out of order with what he said about the fans. If i was the manager i would make him do a public apology, which i think will now happen!!!

I think the manager should drop him.
He has been crap anyway, but expect he would throw his toys out of his pram and quit.

Think Wayne lost himself a few fans after that.
Also, possibly lost himself a few million pounds of potential income as there will be a few sponsors who won't want to touch him after that petulant outburst.
You can take the scouse out of the scum but you'll never take the scum out of the scouser

Remember what Beckham went through when he got sent off against the Argies in his first world cup. The following season he got booed at every ground. Expect the same to happen to Rooney.

Let's just say last nights game was a round of boxing.
England are encapsulated as one man and USA. Algeria and SLovenia are the opponents in three rounds of the bout .
The object is to win on points, everyone follow that? Grand.
This is the biggest fight of their lives and all their fans are there expecting England to KO ALgeria they don't so as that rounds ends would you expect the boxers' fans to jeer their own fighter...you know quite well that wouldn't happen.
In fact there woud be more support for the last round as they know a victory in that round would see them through.
and what do the English fans do.......Jeer. Who the feck do they think they are?
The English are fecking eejits and thae always have been . They still dress up as Crusaders FFS!
I'd love to see them home before Glastonbury....just think of the craic winding up the away support down the City for 4 whole seasons

The difference with a boxer is that he puts his life on the line everytime a punch has connected.Hes earned the respect he gets because if he fails hes got nothing but pain and a few quid in his pocket. You don't boo a warrior! These so called footballers are paid mega bucks and fall about as if they have been shot. They don't give a toss! They will go through on wednesday and be very fortunate in my eyes. But they will lose the next game and go out! Then its back to their club team on mega bucks and theri lifestyles while the supporters are probably working their butts off repaying their loans and rebuilding their relationships with their partners! I think they have a right to boo them, and no its not boxing to me!!!

This is not the first time this has happened with Rooney - The time before last when I was out in Croatia with the Robinson incident, he had a go at the fans for bboing him - Unfortunately the changing rooms where below the stand and you could see into them and as it was so humid the windows were wide open - the shit he got was unbelievable then when they went to get on the coach some england fans were chucking bottles at him from the stands above as we were all still locked in
the next game he scored against Holland in a friendly and did not celebrate - he just walked back to the half way line - A very tempremental player who lives on the edge

It's a bit harsh, they're unbeaten in two games and being booed.
Let's face it, if they weren't so up their own arses and didn't think that the trophy should arleady be engraved, then they might realises that Algeria and the rest are there like them, on merit for qualifying. There is no longer diddy teams at that level. Well apart from England in the eyes of their fans today.
They were outplayed for large parts of the game by a well organised team. I'm not a fan of booing the team, especially after a game where they batteld to a draw like England did.
They referred to a draw with the USA as a shock. Maybe 20 years ago, but not now.
Over rated, over paid and over there. However, not for long.

Every player is a millionare..........the hunger has been lost!!!

i think its down to the draw, when the draw was made england must have thought ,we will win every game there, they have underestimated there opponents, england always play better against the better teams in the world, maybe this could be a kick up the ass , and they might learn from it, but i doubt it, i think these high paid players do have a chip on there shoulders
