Kicked off at the cricket?

Just had a message of one of my mates saying that it kicked off quite bad with city fans and jacks after the Glamorgan game...

OOOPS!!!!! i knew that some jacks were coming to the cricket but didnt think it would kick off

Not saying it didn't happen, but didn't seem like anything was up in the ground. Atmosphere was great and saw lots of recognisable faces from City games there, including one of the stewards who spotted me on the way in.

I parked in Pontcanna Fields so might have missed it, porbably something of nothing anyway.

Glamorgan were thrashed, but the crowd seemed to have a laugh, singing, throwing beachballs, paper aeroplanes, fancy dress etc..

It was more to the Mochyn Du area I think. I was stuck in the carpark for ages. Abotu 4/5 riot vans and a few cars was what I was told while stuck in the large queues.

Shocking game, chase don't set a score for f**k sake! Atmosphere was great, beach balls everywhere(my pint and soft drink- driving so only 1 beer) got tipped everywhere! Steps were a bit slippery then a lad behind us had 2/3 pints tipped everywhere which made it worse

Didn't see any trouble last night. My mate was getting abused for looking like a 'shit Peter Andre'. Some f*cking brilliant chants starting because of that. Not sure if anyone here witnessed it? He was wasted and trying to get fans singing but instead just got abused but he took it quite well.

some guy was there covered in jack tattoos and his missus had a top with a massive swan on the front as they were coming out everyone started chanting, "you jack bastards" and the bloke went nuts, a load of coppers turned up and arrested one of them, then some mad bloke was swimming the taff and there was a load of fire engines and coopers there trying to get him out ha ha

So it did kick off.......just spoke to a jack now and he said the police came straight away so obviously didnt end up in too much trouble.......lol fancy that at cricket eh!!!!!

Went to my first game since I saw them play at Ebbw Vales in the nineties lol, I must say had a cracking day out and will defo go again. There was a decent crowd there but sadly Glamorgan ended up with a heavy defeat !! It was a beach theme so women in bikinis and some carribean steel drum band playing in the stands, Overall the stadium is incredible !! I took a few pics saw dave coaches there and a bunch of smurfs, ended up with some bloke swimming in the river taff as I walked back to the train station and there was old bill and hundreds watching him !!!! As for the trouble as I left I did see 3 old bill go rushing into the stand with daffodils but didnt hang around long enough to see what was happening. Also credit to the lad with a city flag waving it proudly in the stand s !!!!

Walking back through the park after the game though and the bloke swimming in the taff was so funny. The park was locked aswell so the fire brigade gave us a ladder to get over the wall haha.

Were you all walking by the bus car park abusing him? There was a big group passing me in my car and sure i heared "your just a shit peter andre!"

It's not that unusual for it to happen with the jacks in cricket I used to have a jack j.r(srs) phoning me whenever the cricket was on asking If were going .by the way for any smart arses that's not the jr from Dallas

I was therre BUT didnt see anything - then again the amount of cider n vodka consumed i didnt even see much cricket!!!
