Fathers day meal & tour down the City today....

Sun Jun 20, 2010 6:02 pm

Anyone else go? Nice touch, good to see the club branching out and doing stuff like this. Two sittings, I'd say probably around 150 or so over both.

Food was good, and I got a chance to see the 'posh' part of CCFC and what you get for Premier club. Have to say, its quite nice...but would I give up my Canton Stand season ticket and atmosphere?...hhmmm unsure. :?

Ayway, food was nice, good service...but the tour was a bit of a shocker. We got to see two corporate boxes, both dressing rooms and the tunnel/pitch area. Refs room, chairmans suite, DJ's room, press area all locked. Not taken up to fourth floor (although I have been there before) or shown around the control room area. Holding cells for the naughty boys? (are there any?) if so we never saw those either....

If I'd have paid for the tour only, I'd have been pretty pee'd off...

I went to the Madjeski a few years back and that was a great tour. Showed us the lot....even took us in the bogs when James Harper was having a dump!
