I would prefer to see someone young with something to prove. How about Chris Wood on loan from WBA? Has made a decent impact for New Zealand when he has come off the bench and is only 18. He probably won't get many chances to play now the baggies are in the prem and his wages / fees won't be too high as he's very young....

Fingers, that Chris Wood did seem a decent player (ok only seen that game), but I don't think WBA would loan him out to sit on the bench for most of the season.

His goal-scoring record is awful, but with his moves to bigger teams, it suggests he offers something else other than scoring ala Heskey.

Caleb Folan would be perfect target man, distributes the ball very well, Chopra would have even better season than last year. I personally rate him better than Jay, even though he improved a lot since he came to Wales.
