Carlisle and Charlton want him, the Bristol Rovers fans were really looking forward to him signing for them.

Long story Tim, Feeney was happy to go there and then his agent told him to wait and see what the other clubs are offering, Rovers rang Feeney and asked him why he was stalling, he said it was down to his agent. Now it looks like he will now have to talk to the other clubs, Greedy bloody agents.
He is off to Charlton on Monday to talk to them, then meeting Kavanagh at Carlisle, then going to pop over to Hearts, Lost a good mate

Here are some of the quotes from Bristol Rovers fans

HERMAN - Feeney - yes please.
Capaldi - injury prone, no thanks.

TONY 8020 - feeney will be just the tonic to prevent all this nonsense about next season being a flop

SWANSEAGAS - Capaldi is a very useful player at our level, as is Feeney but there is another consideration to be taken into
account. We could lose both of them to NI international duty several times a year,

WEARETHEGAS - Tell Warren that we still love him but his terrible receding hairline put us off.

No hard feelings.

Cheers Carl, Feeney is fuming. Agents are the worst things in football after the Riddler .

Typical agents thinking of themselves and not the benefit of the players they are supposed to be helping

Have been keeping my rovers mate updated from here
I still think Capaldi would be great for them
Feeney I just dont rate but would do a decent job with his work rate, not exciting but solid but I rate Hoskins much higher

Because a lot of Clubs wont speak direct to players, Also Joe Ledley had his Dad, yet some clubs refused to work with him, as he was not an official agent, Pathetic.

The latter point about Ledley's dad is more to do with FIFA regulations. All agents have to be fully licenced. If Ledley's dad isn't, we do deal through him, you're looking at sanctions against the club - fine, possible points deduction.

Nerd, thats actually incorrect, a parent, or brother, sister can act for the player as well as a lawyer and of course a licensed Agent.

Well this time this agent was greedy.

Sounds like, although was he being greedy for the player or himself? Although it does sound like he didnt take the players total interests into account considering the full picture.

That's incorrect.

Unpaid close relations can act for players, as can lawyers who are registered with the FA and exempt solictors.
