Whats you veiws on it then? I come from a strong rugby backround and I must admit I enjoy it. I rather paly than watch and I'd rather watch football than watch rugby. Now I think im speaking on behalf of a lot of the genuine rugby people here. A lot of the people who "come out" for the 6 nations AINT true rugby people and apart from a few times a year have no intrest at all in the sport. Even then they only intrest is getting pissed and looking like knobs. Now I believe you are more than welcome to Like or support more than 1 sport. I know there is a few on here who do Baz used to play for Porth. Gwyn used to play for the old Pontyprrid. Fish do support the Blues.
Share you thoughts please.

I don't like club rugby, I don't know why, just never appealed to me.
I'll watch international rugby though, but mostly just Wales games.
That said, it has to be Rugby Union. I really don't like Rugby League.

I loves rugby I do!
Play for my local team and used to play for my old regiment. Not really a fan of the international matches as it just seems to bring out a load of knuckledraggers who seem determined to just get ruined and then want to fight everyone, though on the plus side plenty of chunky valleys birds who love to come down and get 'smashed' themselves

I love rugby and always go out and watch Wales games plus I used to be a season ticket holder down at Sardis Road for 4 years when I lost the faith in CCFC back in the late 70's ! Pontypridd are / were always my team but since the regional mergers then I have no 1st class team to follow , Ponty were shafted and crap teams at the time like Newport got the non shitty end of the stick !

is there any truth in the rumour that cardiff blues might be leaving our ground soon , a few of my mates are blues fans and they told me that the blues were looking of ways to leave asap

I like it, I like the odd international but I dont like the media surrounding it (like england football team) and I dont like the people who wear the shirt to town or somewhere and are still out shopping while the game is on. not even watching it in the ground.
The blues also allowed me a trip to twickenham, so I been Wembley with City and Twickenham with Blues.
Anyone wanna see a pic?.. no? Tuff

Due to playing skittles on a Friday night watching rugby has become a bit of a regular feature for me. I don't mind it as background material but I wouldn't go to a game unless loads of my mates were going. I rarely watch Wales internationals because I hate Welsh rugby fans who act like they give a shit when they really don't.

hate the wlsh rugby team (over rated), hate some welsh rugby fans (only follow rugger 8 times a year), hated rugby biased teacher hate the reagional rugby teams they are taking all the money that should be going 2 grass root clubs, hate the WRU (the welsh mafia0 but on the other hand my hat goes off to the players and fans who take time out to support their local clubs.

Hate the Welsh media with their views on it (Very similar to English media about footy)
Hate the fairweather fans, you know the ones, middle aged women, rugby top, glittery cowboy hat, chips in one hand and a pint in the other shouting "come on Shaneeee"
You usually see them women face down in their own puke on Caroline Street at about 2am.

i like rugby, played last season for my local side when city were away (didnt have enough cash to travel to all away games last year). id chose watching the city over rugby any day of the week though

Cheggers I heard you used to play. My mate played against you once he said you smashed him in the face then kicked him on the floar tut tut chggers
Wed Jun 30, 2010 6:30 pm
Used to play my self(brynithel) stopped when fun went out of it.
Still follow my boy who's playing for ebbw vale.
But I agree 6 nation or winter internationals are now for the dicks who otherwise wouldn't cross the road to watch their local team.
