Having missed out on the press officer job at CCFC , is Terry now auditioning for a similar job at the next club PR moves on to?
Seems a bit glowing in his praise of our former Chairman doesn`t he?

I think that the Malaysians were only investing on a 'gamble' that we might go up. If we had gone up there 6mil investment would have paid off with premiership riches in excess of 90mil. Insted of that they are now major shareholders of a championship club with 30mil worth of debt. They are probably feeling they have made a big mistake. Lets hope they dont try and cut their losses by selling all the assets and then selling their shares or worse... putting the club into admin. I guess as fans we have to realise our debts are not gonna go away just because of new investment. We are probably in for some turbilant times ahead. Lets face it, things must be bad if the people on this board are wishing Sam was back and the likes of Terry Phillips is wishing Risdale was back! With respect to messers Hamman and Risdale, they have to take part resonsibility for the mess we are in because of their money mismanagement. Now all we are left with is Malaysian owners who appear to have cold feet, lots of creditors who want their money back, PMG and the rugby boys. When you look at the people who have a vested interest in our club it makes you shudder with fear because none of them could care less about the football club and they only want money from it. At this moment in time I would say we are screwed.

Keith,
I agree with you, but the club is looking very disorganised at the moment and we seem to have no one on the tiller.
We have shot ourselves in the foot with the last minute cancellation of the tour and not giving us the true reason it. Our reputation out there is in tatters and it is going to take a lot of work to restore it IF we can.
Someone needs to step up to the mark and sort it out.
The question is who ??

surely the Board appoint a chairman who in turn appoints a CEO , so look no further than that at the mo !

I feel sorry for Dave Jones, bless him he is trying to get a team and yet they shit on him everytime, i have faith in DJ and i hope he can get what he wants sooner rather than later or i find myself saying he will go else where
however i do believe Dave Jones is very very loyal to Cardiff City he is a good man just a pity there is never no monies available to him.....and we have to thank Dicksdale for that one!!!

Martyn,
We have been told that he needs guidance with football related matters and has no contacts.
I have been told that we must allow him to be only concerned with the most important problems facing the club and yet he felt that one of the most important things to do was to check what books were to be sold in club shop!
He is not a public relations expert either as he would have realised the harm that would be done by cancelling the tour at the last minute causing ill feeling and serious harm to potential far eastern sponsors.
He, as far as I can make it out, is there purely to safeguard the interests of PMG as he was the only person they put up to TG to be interviewed. Do we honestly believe that no one else would be interested or have greater relative skills.

The Terry Phllips story is based on posts from this message board. The Chopra qoute about owing £1.5 million in particular.
He seems to be playing to the gallery on this one.

sam may have had money miss-mangment, but what he had that ridsdale didnt was the clubs interest at heart not his bank balance, coz if that was the case he would not have walked away being owed and still owed so much money or even lost so much money, where he could easily have taken the club under to get it, riddler would have done.
BRING BACK SAM

There is on part of that article that highlight that Terry has no facts and is getti ng what he can from here and makin up the rest.
"Cardiff City have to find £1.5m to pay Sunderland money they are owed on Michael Chopra. The deal was £500,000 down, £1m a year later (which was paid) and the remaining £1.5m in 18 months – and that timescale is up in July"
How can July (now) be 18months after we signed Chopra as we only signed him at the end of the 2008-09 season.
I am not saying we don't have to find the money now, but Terry's reasoning for it is bollocks.

Everything in that article has been discussed in length on this forum the past few days........
I think some people off this forum would make better reporters to be fair
