PR'S ROLE IN THIS MEETING

Thu Jul 01, 2010 7:30 am

Personally I wouldn't trust him as far as I could throw him, no actually it's less than I could throw him.

How Sam can sit in the same room as the back stabber is beyond me, but he's told me the reason'sbehind it and it does make sense, but I still couldn't do it.

Sam will not meet with TG if People like PMG or Whitely etc are there, but obviosuly someone needs to be there to either give some truth and factual information to the dealings that have gone on ( mind you truth and PR aren't words I'd link together).

Sam wants someone to ratify some of the points he will make, obviously without deep knowlege of past events TG will only be hearing Sam's side if no third party are involved, so I can see some sense behind it.

If the Malaysians will work out a deal that see's them controlling the overall finances and setting budgets etc. the leave Sam do the football, then I can see this working, Sam's record in scouting non league and young talent and then developing them is legendary and Wimbledon were second to none on record for bringing thru talent during Sam's tenure.

Anyone who knows Sam knows how much belief he has in youth set up and also his passion for watching football anywhere and anytime in the search for the next Jerome or Ramsey.

I can understand people's aprehension but few of those people have suggested viable alternatives, I have a lot of belief and trust that the Malaysian's are honourable and switched on and that they have the right plans for the long term stable future of our club.

Gwyn Im really pissed off with Ridsdale's involvement again and how do we know that he isnt going to lie blatantly to Sam's face too ? But I understand why Sam wants to talk to him and u know Sam he's a stubborn old bugger and if thats what he wants then thats what he gets , 1 question do u think that with Sam's guidance etc that Gethin Jenkins could develope into a good CEO who is football minded ? :ayatollah:

IMHO there is now no way Gethin Jenkins can stay and learn the job he was brought in to do.
He is there to do one thing and that is to look after the interests of certain directors, and it's those directors that have caused this present inaction.

Well said, Gwyn. I believe we are now beginning to see the rugby junta marginalised and the eventual removal of GJ to a job he's more suited to. We need to continue to support TG, SB and now SH. Better days are around the corner.

Don't forget that invitation for a Thursday night still stands in Cwmbran bro.

The Malaysians need THEIR financial man in there, a man to look after their interests as they are clearly the future (with SB) for our club.

Even the Echo today is laughing at Gethin Jenkins stating quite clearly that the man is way out of his depth. He was the only candidate put up for interview by TG by the PMG faction. WHY?

I'll be there Gethin must now be regretting listening to his rugby mates.

Gwyn, when Sam left he took the most crucial part of CCFC and that was "ITS SOUL", bring him home.
