WHO SHOULD WE BLAME

Thu Jul 01, 2010 9:15 am

The players still have not been paid, do we blame the Malaysians, I personally don't if anything I feel sorry for them, they have come in honourably and bailed us out, but it's as if the directors are saying, "yes Ok you have a 30% share holding an dtaht means you ahevto takecare of all the debt and the running costs be because we aren't prepared to, there's no more milk in the cow, so you can take over what's left, oh and please feed the cow"

I am concerned the Malaysian's will feel they have been stitched up, cut their losses and walk away, the sooner someone gets a grip the better.

Sam bad for the club, O.K someone give me a better option.

That is probably the key here. I've said in other threads that I'm not 100% for Sam coming back, however, TG and VT need some help and if Sam is really going to invest (rather than borrow more against the club) then I will have to trust TG and VTs judgement.

If we want to avoid losing our place as one of the top clubs in the Championship we clearly need an urgent injection of both cash and expertise, followed by a period of financial stability. If this new arrangement is aiming to do those things then they will convert me and many others.

The lower leagues were not that bad with hindsight. I would rather have a club to support that I have some affinity to than some of these cash cow Premiership sides.

Man City - Great going to spend hundreds of millions to try and win the league and the champs league and then when they get bored or worse want to cash in on the assets we have another Leeds, Southampton etc etc

Look at the way England played in the world cup - players did not it seems give a toss. Fans spent thousands and what do they get - not a lot from their 'hereos' First class travel, 5 star lifestyle, pathetic performances.

On a related subject when is the Gerrard story going to break?
